Zoro, Sanji, and the others called out his name in delighted surprise. But the Luffy standing before them looked different now. His normally yellowish skin had turned an eerie blue, heavy dark shadows hung beneath his determined eyes, and he had grown so much taller that he looked like a miniature giant!
"Is that really Luffy?"
Nami and Vivi stared at the figure who had saved them, hardly able to believe their eyes.
"It's really me!"
Nightmare Luffy spoke in a deep voice.
Hearing him, the others finally let down their guard and began asking questions.
"That's right! It's really him! That sounds just like him!"
"How did you end up looking like that?"
Even Moria, whom Luffy had sent flying with a single punch, stared in disbelief. He angrily wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth and looked at Nightmare Luffy in astonishment.
Does he have a transformation ability too? Or could it be...
Seeing that Moria had escaped from Oars's body, Barn realized there was no point in continuing his attack and released Oars. The pillar of fire scorching Oars and the Thunder Barrier imprisoning him vanished at once, revealing his thoroughly charred body...
Barn turned his gaze toward Luffy, who had just arrived. Seeing him in his nightmare form, he curled his lips into a slight smile.
"Is everyone all right?"
Nightmare Luffy spoke in a low voice as he watched Moria, who had already returned to Oars's body.
"Only Franky and Robin got hurt. Thanks to Mr. Barn, the rest of us weren't badly injured."
Usopp called out to Nightmare Luffy.
Zoro walked over too and addressed Nightmare Luffy.
"You know this guy's dangerous, right? Your shadow is inside him, and thanks to Moria's Shadow Revolution, his body can stretch just like yours now.
