Hancock paid little heed to Gorse's words. It was only a "monkey," after all. She said indifferently,
"A monkey? Never mind..."
With that, Hancock hurried after Barn, who had already gone quite a distance ahead. Gorse followed too.
"What would you like to drink?"
Gorse asked respectfully, but Hancock fluttered her lashes and turned shyly to Barn.
"What would you like to drink, Lord Barn?"
Even Gorse found that expression strange. That was hardly surprising, though; she had never seen this side of Hancock before.
Hearing Hancock's question, Barn thought for a moment before replying.
"Ah, do you have any liquor?"
Barn asked Gorse with a smile.
Gorse naturally knew who Barn was. Ever since she was little, she had heard her elders tell stories about Barn the hero. At his question, she immediately nodded.
"Yes, we have white liquor. Would you like some?"
Gorse asked.
"Then please bring me a glass."
Barn said with a smile. Hearing him order white liquor, Hancock spoke up too.
"I'll have white liquor too."
At Hancock's words, Gorse immediately nodded and went to fetch the drinks.
"Yes, my lady!"
Just then, an aged voice rang out.
"Bring me a glass too!"
A short old woman approached with a Snake Staff, calling out loudly. Gorse, who was about to fetch the drinks, looked surprised when she saw her.
"Huh? Granny Nyon, what brings you here?"
Gloriosa, once the stunning King of Amazon Lily, had become an old woman through and through. She merely nodded at Gorse's question without answering and walked straight up to Hancock and Barn.
"It's been a long time, Barn."
Barn looked at the old woman greeting him with some puzzlement, but he still recognized her voice. He smiled and nodded to her.
"Yes, it has, Gloriosa."
Hancock's expression, however, turned
