Barn joined the Rumbar Pirates, survived the crew’s deaths, and spent fifteen years on Amazon Lily before setting sail with the Kuja Pirates. After accidentally boarding Whitebeard’s ship, he fought its strongest pirates and earned Whitebeard’s recognition.

• Qiu Haisheng transmigrated into his blind Asura character Barn, met the Rumbar Pirates, and joined Captain York’s crew after claiming he had survived a shipwreck.
• Barn found the Nidai Kitetsu and the Life Fruit, defeated Planck’s attacking pirates, and earned a bounty after cutting through two Marine warships.
• The Rumbar Pirates left Laboon at Twin Capes, then fell ill and died in the poisonous fog, leaving Barn and Fitz as survivors.
• Barn reached an Island Turtle, became its king, and was taken to Amazon Lily, where he defeated Aishi in combat and killed the Snake God that attacked the island.
• Barn asked Aishi to teach him Haki, trained on Amazon Lily for fifteen years, and left with the Kuja Pirates after reaching level 50.

Barn joined Whitebeard, built a weapon-reinforcement business, and helped Fisher Tiger free the slaves of Mary Geoise before being captured. After escaping Impel Down with Shiki and other prisoners, Barn reunited with Roger and his allies, founded the FFF guild, and joined Fisher Tiger on a journey to return Koala home.

• Whitebeard welcomed Barn aboard, and Barn reinforced Whitebeard’s blade with Terrabreeze Coal after helping defend the crew from Sengoku and Zephyr.
• Barn left Whitebeard’s ship, met Lia, and began reinforcing weapons while reconnecting with Roger and gaining his third Proof of the Strong.
• Barn helped Fisher Tiger free the slaves at Mary Geoise, then fought Sengoku and Garp until he exhausted himself and was captured.
• After six months in Impel Down, Barn escaped with Golden Lion, Leonard, Oniwood, and World, overcoming Magellan, Shiryu, Borsalino, and pursuing Marines.
• Barn reunited with Laboon and Roger, promised to care for Roger’s family, and witnessed Roger’s execution begin the Great Pirate Era.

Barn saved Fisher Tiger after the Navy ambushed the Sun Pirates, then helped him disappear while Jinbe took the crew in a different direction. As Queen Otohime pursued peace and was shot, Barn turned toward Bandy Waldo’s World Pirates, whose past betrayal Leonard revealed.

• After the Navy ambushed the Sun Pirates, Barn fought off the Marines and gave the badly wounded Fisher Tiger a human-blood transfusion.
• Barn persuaded Fisher Tiger to live and help oppose the World Government, then hid him and declared him dead while Arlong rejected Fisher Tiger’s plea against revenge.
• Jinbe became a Shichibukai to secure pardons and support Fish-Man Island, but Arlong left to rebuild his own crew as the Sun Pirates split apart.
• When Mjosgard threatened Fish-Man Island, Queen Otohime protected him, and Shirahoshi’s distress summoned Sea Kings, revealing her possible identity as Poseidon.
• Barn defeated Moria in Sabaody and later set out to visit an old friend, while Otohime returned from the surface with support for her petition to move Fish-Man Island there.
• After Otohime’s petition was set alight and she was shot, Fisher Tiger left for the West Blue to protect the island and the freed slaves, while Barn prepared to move on.
• Bandy Waldo escaped Impel Down, built a fortress ship, and announced his plan to destroy Mary Geoise, prompting Barn to sail toward Amazon Lily to recruit from the World Pirates.
• Leonard told Barn that the World Government had orchestrated the campaign against Waldo and that Cipher Pol agents had infiltrated his crew before stabbing and capturing him.

Barn rescued Hancock from World and helped resolve the Bandy Brothers’ old misunderstanding, then formed an alliance with World against the World Government. At Saipan Island, Barn joined Whitebeard’s battle against the Marines and faced Saint Capulias as the fighting escalated.

• World abducted Hancock from Amazon Lily, but Barn pursued him and promised Gloriosa he would bring her back safely.
• Barn confronted World aboard the Grosser and freed Hancock, while Beyo Jack reminded World of their original dream and Leonard began explaining the betrayal from ten years earlier.
• World attacked the Marines, and Barn defeated Mihawk without killing him before Garp and Akainu joined the battle.
• Barn persuaded Garp to let him take World away, then revealed that he led the FFF Guild and secured World’s agreement to oppose the World Government.
• Marco arrived wounded and told Barn that Saint Capulias had broken his arm and was attacking Whitebeard at Saipan Island.
• Whitebeard fought Capulias and the Marines as Akainu and Aokiji attacked his crew, until Barn destroyed Akainu’s lava meteors and brought Marco back to Whitebeard.
• Barn faced Capulias, drove him into a crater, and identified himself as Barn Bashut, while Capulias ordered a retreat and declared himself the Tyrant Dragon King before preparing a deadly move.
