This place felt different from the jungle around the outskirts. Stone buildings stood everywhere. Though already dilapidated, traces of civilization could still vaguely be seen.

At that moment, Ye Liang suddenly spotted a raised mound in the distance. It looked as though something had been buried beneath it, with packed earth pressed tightly around it.

He quickly called the group to a halt.

"What is it? That Naga hasn't been dealt with. It'll be bad if he catches up to us," one of the Cockroach People said.

"Quiet. Since Brother Ye Liang told us to stop, he must have his reasons," Mika interrupted. He stayed close behind Ye Liang and leaped onto an intertwined tree branch.

"Can't you see that raised patch of ground?" Ye Liang pointed at the mound. The people around him looked over, then immediately wore unconcerned expressions.

"Oh, that. Important instruments of our race are usually buried underground. They're much safer in the earth than out in the open," Mika explained.

One of the Cockroach People immediately shrugged. "See? We've already made it here. How could there be any danger? Those damned Naga Race members can't survive on land for long." He headed straight ahead, leaping over several trees in one bound.

Ye Liang nodded, accepting the explanation. He moved forward and quickly caught up with the Cockroach People.
