Mika froze. He had never heard the term before, and only understood after Ye Liang explained it. "How could you tell she had hysteria?"

"Because she's crazy!" Ye Liang said. He shrugged as the woman attacked again. She bared her fangs and clawed at him, trying to grab him once more, but Ye Liang gave the back of her neck a light chop, and she immediately collapsed.

"If we cure this woman, we might be able to learn the truth about the Spider Race." Ye Liang gathered her into his arms. Mika glanced over and helped hoist her up.

"Hysteria is nothing more than a severe shock or a problem with the brain. At times like this, you just feed them some sedatives, then give their head a good whack."

"Whack their head? Are you sure you're not joking?"

Ye Liang nodded. "When your appliances break, isn't that how you fix them?" He pried open the woman's mouth and directly stuffed some mood-stabilizing medicine inside.
