Ye Liang mastered the three Sage Modes, fought Akatsuki, and uncovered the origin of Jashinism’s power. After Konoha killed him over suspicions about his identity, he revived and defeated the Hokages, then set out for the Land of Haze to investigate a Flying Thunder God message.

• Ye Liang learned Sage Mode at Mount Myōboku, heard the Great Toad Sage’s prophecy about two versions of himself, and then met the Slug Sage, who revealed the shared origins of the three Sage Mode powers.
• Akatsuki ambushed Team 7, but Naruto and the others fought them off until Ye Liang arrived and confronted Itachi, then battled Nagato and escaped Akatsuki’s sealing technique.
• Ye Liang followed Hidan to the Land of Hot Water, found a temple connected to Jashin, and learned that the Jashin statue was an alien from the Third Civilization that taught him the Undying Evil Art.
• When Hiruzen Sarutobi and Shimura Danzō challenged Ye Liang’s identity, Ye Liang showed his Byakugan, but Danzō and Konoha’s forces attacked him, severed his head, and displayed it at the village gate.
• Sasuke, Naruto, Sakura, and Hinata tried to recover Ye Liang’s head, and Chen Baojun agreed to restore him after Ye Liang taught him martial arts, but Hiruzen Sarutobi and Danzō intervened.
• Hiruzen Sarutobi summoned Hashirama Senju, Tobirama Senju, and Minato Namikaze, while Hinata reattached Ye Liang’s head and Ye Liang revived himself with Creation Rebirth.
• Ye Liang challenged Tobirama Senju over Danzō’s fate, defeated Tobirama and Hashirama, and earned Kotoamatsukami before calling out Danzō.
• Ye Liang found that his repaired system could no longer access the Treasure Vault password, then traveled to the Land of Haze, where he discovered a martial contest tied to Little Bird Princess and a minister’s plan to marry her.

Ye Liang was drawn into Yomi Hirasaka, where he survived its dangers, strengthened himself with death energy, and discovered a way out of Peach Blossom Village. After witnessing a vision of Izanagi-no-Mikoto and Izanami-no-Mikoto, he sought answers from Ofukamuzu, who recognized his false identity and revealed his adult form.

• Ye Liang quit the tournament, rejected Hattori Jiro’s offer, and joined Nanako’s side, but Akatsuki captured Nanako and Ye Liang later killed Hattori Jiro.
• Nanako’s glowing red eyes opened a path to Yomi Hirasaka, where Ye Liang found himself unable to use Chakra and learned from the system to cultivate death energy.
• Ye Liang entered Peach Blossom Village and trained under Mother Superior Duzhixu’s watch, then joined Uzumaki Nao on a hunt and killed a powerful Underworld Leader.
• Ye Liang used the Thunder Force of a man he killed to open his blocked acupoints, break through his cultivation, and learn the Underworld Lightning Forging Method.
• Ye Liang escaped Peach Blossom Village by overcoming the red energy inside the Village Exit Token, then experienced a vision of Izanagi-no-Mikoto searching for Izanami-no-Mikoto.
• At Mother Superior Duzhixu’s hundred-year birthday banquet, Ye Liang learned that eating Underworld creatures strengthened Pure Ones but trapped them in the village and prevented reincarnation.
• Ye Liang sought guidance from Ofukamuzu after the banquet, and Ofukamuzu recognized his fabricated identity and transformed into an adult.

Ye Liang stole Izanagi-no-Mikoto’s Wooden Comb, escaped the Underworld Realm with several allies, then returned to confront the freed Underworld Emperor. After defeating him and freeing the trapped Pure Ones, Ye Liang followed a space channel and emerged in a cave where he encountered Konan and Nagato.

• Ye Liang killed a Karma Fire Leader, survived a fall into a canyon, and followed a squirrel to an ancient palace where he devoured General White Bone and learned its secrets.
• Ye Liang entered the Underworld Guard selection, joined Might Duy in stealing the Wooden Comb, and learned the Eight Gates Formation and Flying Thunder God.
• Ye Liang used Izanagi-no-Mikoto’s help to bring Hashirama, Tobirama, and White Fang back to Konoha, where Tobirama restored their bodies with Impure World Reincarnation.
• Ye Liang returned to a devastated Underworld Realm and learned that Izanagi-no-Mikoto had freed the Underworld Emperor, who had captured Izanami-no-Mikoto and killed many of the realm’s leaders.
• Ye Liang and Izanagi-no-Mikoto fought the giant Underworld Emperor, but he escaped into the canyon and swallowed Ye Liang along with Mother Superior Duzhixu, Minato Namikaze, and others.
• Ye Liang and Minato Namikaze helped the trapped people escape the Emperor’s Devouring Space, then rallied the freed Pure Ones in an attack that drove the Emperor underground.
• Ye Liang swallowed and defeated the Underworld Emperor, while the system absorbed his excess Spiritual Power and transformed into a young woman.
• Ye Liang entered a space channel, survived being shredded by spatial fragments, and reassembled in a cave, where he knocked Nagato unconscious and grabbed Konan.

Ye Liang traveled to the past, encountered Princess Kaguya and Ōtsutsuki Isshiki, and became entangled in the Land of Ancestors’ war before returning to his own era. He found Kaguya amnesiac and Isshiki weakened, then asked Hashirama Senju and Tobirama to locate her.

• Ye Liang severed the death aura’s channel, killed the weakened Underworld Guide, and faced Black Zetsu, but Black Zetsu seized the Death Aura Orb and revived Princess Kaguya.
• Ye Liang fought Kaguya, escaped the backlash of the Eight Gates by traveling through time, and arrived injured near Konoha in an unfamiliar era.
• Ye Liang saved Matsushita Ichiro’s family, claimed the daimyo’s position, and discovered that Princess Kaguya had just arrived on Earth and was hiding a God Tree seed while Isshiki suspected Ye Liang was an outsider.
• When the Land of Others invaded, Ye Liang fought its soldiers, but Isshiki attacked Kaguya and Aino, after Isshiki killed Aino, Kaguya transformed into the Ten-Tails.
• Ye Liang revived Aino, subdued the Ten-Tails, and helped Kaguya return to human form before absorbing the Ten-Tails’ energy and leaving the past to pursue Isshiki.
• Ye Liang infiltrated Sakata Gintoki’s court, discovered that Jigen’s body contained Isshiki, and learned that Isshiki feared the Otsutsuki Branch Family would come to Earth.
• Ye Liang returned to his own era, found Kaguya in Amenominaka, and learned from Jigen and a weakened Isshiki that the Otsutsuki Main Family had taken Isshiki’s Ten-Tails power and that Kaguya had been wounded and sealed.
• Ye Liang asked Hashirama Senju and Tobirama to locate Kaguya through the Underworld Realm’s death energy, and they reported that she was too powerful for them to defeat.
