Ye Liang became entangled in Dora Star’s rebellion, War Planet’s succession struggle, and the Cosmic Grand Competition while growing stronger and seeking answers about Kaguya. After he killed Tatsumi, the competition was suspended and suspicion fell on Ye Liang as the search for Kaguya continued.

Arc 13The Enlightenment Rebellion

Ye Liang traveled to Dora Star, where he uncovered Green’s betrayal and became entangled in Mogu Prince’s struggle against the insectoid uprising. After helping defeat the Centipede General, he gained a place aboard the Enlightenment and learned that Law Power came from the War King.

  • President Ryan arranged for Ye Liang to reach Unicorn Star through War Planet’s node teleporter, and Ye Liang joined Mogu Prince’s expedition to Dora Star under a population contract.
  • Ye Liang stole the Chaos Demonic Blade from the Weapon Shop Owner after turning the owner’s fight with a Mountain Giant against him, then joined the expedition’s main force.
  • Ye Liang discovered that Centipede People planned to attack the Enlightenment, while Mogu Prince suspected him of the weapon-shop theft.

Arc 14The Queen and the War Throne

Ye Liang’s abduction of the Insectoid Queen sparked a war on Dora Star, but her return exposed Baiguo’s scheme and ended the conflict. Ye Liang then reached War Planet with Mo Wu, where an ambush and a dispute over her fitness to inherit the throne left the group facing new dangers.

  • Moghu urged Ye Liang to pursue Mo Wu, then Ye Liang encountered the scarred Baiguo in a mine and was captured after she overpowered his escape attempts.
  • Baiguo kept Ye Liang prisoner while the Enlightenment searched for him, and Ye Liang escaped, found the Insectoid Queen, and carried her away from the priests.
  • The Insectoid Queen and Ye Liang were trapped in the Insect People’s holy land, where Ye Liang gained the Armor Law before they escaped underground.
  • Mo Wu’s negotiations with the Insect People collapsed after Baiguo accused the Enlightenment of taking their Queen, and Baiguo’s forces attacked the delegation.
  • The battle devastated both sides until Ye Liang returned, and the Insect People reconciled with the Enlightenment after the Queen revealed Baiguo had orchestrated the conflict.

Ye Liang escaped the War King’s imprisonment, became Mo Wu’s advisor, and survived an attack on the contestants’ ship before returning to War Planet. The arc ended with Scar imprisoned for the Third Prince’s murder, insisting he had acted without control of himself.

  • The War King recognized Ye Liang’s merits but imprisoned him after Ye Liang refused to marry Mo Wu, and Mo Wu later helped him escape.
  • A squad of assassins pursued Ye Liang into Octopus Pool, where he defeated the Blue-Patterned Octopus and found an assassination ledger naming Mo Wu as a target.

Ye Liang and Mo Wu reached Cosmic Star, where Ye Liang survived the trials, rescued Kagura, and grew strong enough to confront Tatsumi. After Ye Liang killed Tatsumi while pursuing the truth about Kaguya, the competition was suspended and suspicion turned toward him.

  • Ye Liang and Mo Wu escaped Xue Rulong’s prison with Baiguo’s help, then Ye Liang led a search for Mo Hai’s killer while Mo Wu sought Moghu’s support.
  • On Cosmic Star, Ye Liang passed the identity and comprehension tests, survived a devastating lightning trial, and defeated the Soybean Golems after arriving late for the final test.
  • Ye Liang rescued Kagura and other kidnapped girls, reunited Kagura with Kannazuki, then learned that Kaguya was Prince Tatsumi’s consort and was gravely wounded by Tatsumi when he confronted him.
