Toru Kujyo stood in the ruined competitors' stands, looking down at the Sunagakure ninja before him. After Hinata had sealed Gaara's chakra points with her Gentle Fist, he had slumped weakly to the ground, while Temari and Kankuro guarded him warily.
"Who the hell are you?" Temari asked through gritted teeth, still shaken by the power of that punch. Anyone who could suppress Shukaku's rampage in a single strike was no ordinary Genin.
Toru Kujyo did not answer. He merely gave her a cold glance.
Kurenai Yuhi strode over, her expression stern. "Toru Kujyo, well done." She surveyed the subdued Sand Ninja and issued a new order. "Kiba, Shikamaru, Choji, escort these prisoners to Konoha's Interrogation Department."
"The Interrogation Department?" Kiba froze for a moment.
"That's right." Kurenai Yuhi nodded. "These Sand Ninja took part in the attack on Konoha. They need to be interrogated."
Shikamaru scratched his head. "What a drag..."
"Quit complaining!" Kiba rubbed his hands excitedly. "Come on, let's show these guys what Konoha can do!"
Toru Kujyo was about to follow the group when Kurenai Yuhi stopped him. "Wait, Toru Kujyo."
"What is it?"
Kurenai Yuhi gave him a searching look. "The strength you just displayed... was far beyond an ordinary Genin's level. What exactly are you hiding?"
Toru Kujyo shrugged. "I just got lucky. Besides, under the circumstances, I couldn't exactly stand by and watch a tailed beast rampage through the village, could I?"
"Lucky?" Kurenai Yuhi clearly did not believe that excuse, but this really was not the time to press him. "Never mind. We'll leave that for later. Be careful escorting the prisoners. You might encounter more enemies along the way."
