At Toru Kujyo's low shout, the ground beneath his feet suddenly collapsed. Countless thick roots burst from the earth like giant pythons, twisting, coiling, and growing wildly upward. These were no ordinary trees. With the momentum to destroy heaven and earth and a primal, brutal force, they swallowed Kimimaro's sea of bone spikes in an instant.
Crack! Boom!
The snapping of bones mingled with the thunderous roar of wood tearing through the earth, forming a chaotic symphony. The courtyard's rockeries, ponds, and even the walls and roofs of the Uchiha residence proved utterly fragile before this unstoppable force.
Trees shot out of the ground at an astonishing speed, their thick branches sweeping through everything, crushing sturdy buildings into rubble and heaving level ground into ravines.
In just a few breaths, the once warm and elegant Uchiha residence, along with the surrounding woods and open ground, was swallowed by the primeval forest erupting from the earth. Towering ancient trees blotted out the sky, while vines tangled together like chains, turning the entire area into a chaotic green ocean.
"Wh-what is this?!" Kidomaru screamed in terror. His spider silk was torn apart in an instant, and a massive trunk surged from the ground, flinging him high into the air before slamming him back down.
Tayuya's flute fell abruptly silent. A huge tree struck her without warning and sent her flying, blood spraying from her mouth, her eyes filled with disbelief and terror. Jirobo and Sakon and Ukon were entangled and bound by countless wooden spikes, unable to move, left with nothing but desperate howls.
Sasuke Uchiha and Karin were also stunned by the sudden upheaval. Sasuke's Sharingan spun rapidly, allowing him to see the chakra contained within the trees clearly-a power in which vitality and destruction coexisted.
