Sure enough, although Toru Kujyo's clothes remained neat as he hovered in the air, a barely perceptible quickness lurked beneath his steady breathing. As he watched the equally exhausted Nagato below, he rapidly weighed his options.
The natives of this world are much harder to deal with than I expected. That bizarre absorption ability, in particular, almost perfectly counters the repulsive attacks the Tenseigan relies on most. And to conceal my identity, I can't use Wood Release, which I'm most comfortable with. I can only force an opening with these enormously taxing meteors from beyond the sky.
Now, both of them were at the end of their strength. They had roughly the same amount of chakra left. Continuing the fight would only leave them both gravely injured.
