Arthur dearly wanted to learn some of the things called secrets from "Mihailo."
After all, she was known as the "Lady of Pain," and was even considered something akin to a deity.
The secrets she held were naturally worth a fortune.
But actually obtaining them would be extremely difficult.
No!
More precisely, getting secrets "directly" out of her mouth would be as difficult as reaching the heavens!
Even if she told him something, Arthur would have no way of knowing whether she was deceiving him.
So-
Arthur decided to take a roundabout approach.
Arthur wanted to make the "Lady of Pain" experience "pain," not because he thought she would submit to it, but because he was certain that, when she felt "pain," she would do everything possible to save herself.
For example, contacting some allies.
Those allies included, but were not limited to, the Old Lion and others.
However, Arthur was not waiting for the Old Lion or his eldest son.
Those two were effectively cards already laid faceup.
Arthur had no interest in faceup cards.
He needed the ones hidden deep out of sight.
For instance, beings like the "Lady of Pain"-those entities known as "deities."
Arthur did not believe for a moment that these beings had no secret channels of communication.
Judging by how human the "Lady of Pain" seemed, these fellows might even have formed some sort of "organization."
So there had to be a way for them to contact one another!
Ordinary people simply had trouble discovering it!
As for danger?
There would certainly be some.
But it would not be too dangerous.
After all, the "Lady of Pain" wanted to save herself, not "destroy herself." So any deity she called in would only be roughly her equal, never someone whose strength far surpassed her
