• Mo Qishang awakened in Arthur Creados’s body after a bloodline-stealing ritual, killed the noseless man, and absorbed the [Herc White Silver Potion] after it melted his dagger.
• Arthur discovered his dark serpent abilities and omniscient cuisine talent, then used a staged exorcism to attract newspaper coverage and earn XP.
• Arthur frightened Dokule into the path of a carriage, then met Malinda Julius Caesar, who asked him to find Anna’s murderer.
• Arthur used a Spirit Board to identify the Axe Murderer and killed Chief Lark when the sheriff attacked him.

Arthur uncovered a baby-abduction ritual, helped Maltz bring down Gram and Woolt, and gained a foothold in Malinda Julius Caesar’s political plans. The arc left Arthur agreeing to feign intimacy with Malinda while she sought the complete Swiftbird Swordsmanship for him.

• Arthur defeated Instructor Byrne in a spar, but Ritter died suddenly before their challenge could begin, and Desi accused Arthur of murder.
• Arthur exposed Desi’s poisoning of Ritter and agreed to keep Ritter’s tournament result secret in exchange for Todd Gilly’s promise to find him better swordsmanship.
• A mysterious beggar attacked Arthur at 2 Kirk Street, but Arthur survived the encounter and learned Pseudo Swiftbird Swordsmanship from the beggar’s technique.
• Arthur rescued a kidnapped baby and traced the disappearances to a ritual centered on 14 Kirk Street, identifying Toad as the likely culprit.
• Arthur joined forces with Maltz to raid 14 Kirk Street, where Arthur killed Gram and found a page of the [Herc Notes] that taught him Hand of the Void.
• Maltz and Arthur maneuvered against Woolt, and Amy and Sarah fled after Woolt’s death while Maltz secured the Count’s support and became Shire District chief.
• Families whose babies Arthur had rescued brought him food, and he burned a painting after an unexplained instinct warned him to do so.

Arthur helped Malinda secure her position, survived attacks tied to the rival chambers, and began investigating mystical knowledge while building his own network. After learning basic Ei a and choosing the Cat’s Orange ritual, he solved Jesse’s murder and invited Malinda to visit him.

• Malinda used Brody’s murder and the deaths of Coste and Emond to strengthen her position, while Arthur helped her misdirect the watchers and earned Spider’s Claw.
• Arthur escaped an attack by the Count of South Los’s watchers, then helped Maltz burn the moving corpses of Coste and Emond and discussed preparing a ship as an escape route.
• Arthur received mystical books and supplies from Malinda, found Toad’s hideout with Wiggins, and recruited Wiggins to gather information.
• Arthur read Gram’s diary and learned of Gram’s mystical history and plans involving Arthur and Xiudik.
• Malinda sent Arthur Oruncat’s Potion, and Arthur used it to study basic Ei a before choosing the safer Cat’s Orange ritual to regulate his spirituality.

Arthur investigated Lord Doyle’s death, exposed Gilt’s murder plot, and helped Oak Manor survive an assault by black cavalry and a Wailing Banshee. He left with Golden Acorns and a plan to use a staged feud with Malinda to draw out the Secret Gathering in Mouse Tail Alley.

• Arthur accepted Fontel’s request to investigate Lord Doyle’s death and traveled to Oak Manor with Scott, Maltz, and Andy.
• Arthur and Albers discovered a nail in Lord Doyle’s head, and Arthur exposed Gilt’s role in the murder and the hidden will naming Fontel as sole heir.
• Arthur tested Oak Manor’s servants, identified traitors, and prepared the manor’s defenses while Lüttel reviewed Fontel’s contract granting Arthur half the estate.
• Bourby led black cavalry to Oak Manor, where the defenders killed most of the attackers and Arthur’s explosives destroyed the retreating riders.
• Marian transformed into a Wailing Banshee in the dungeon, and Arthur helped Albers destroy her before the manor assessed the attack’s aftermath.
• Vic entrusted Arthur with the Colodi Holywood Shield and revealed the Doyle Family’s mystical inheritance, while Arthur learned that its Mystic Art required 30 XP to learn.
