As a major city in the heart of Cloud Province, Mountain City was one of the few large cities in Cloud Province-no, in the entire Human Nation-with an extremely low incidence of supernatural incidents.
For Wu Juyan, the head of Mountain City's Special Affairs Bureau, that meant there were not actually many supernatural incidents for him to deal with. Naturally, he had far more free time than his colleagues elsewhere.
He could also go home to his wife and daughter almost every day.
Today, however, Wu Juyan discovered a bookshop on his way home that had never been there before.
