The entire Old Hospital District looked as though it had been built in a world of gray fog. Beyond the hospital gates, everything was still shrouded in mist.

Behind him were densely packed creatures resembling black sludge, their bloated bodies trailing after him.
Looking back at those creatures, Wu Juyan felt a lingering chill of fear. Just the Weirds from two underground floors numbered this many. He hardly dared imagine the consequences if all these Weirds charged into Mountain City.
Shaking off those distracting thoughts, Wu Juyan looked toward the hospital rooftop. That was his ultimate destination, and where he would find the most suitable sacrificial offering, one he had spent so long painstakingly searching for.
When Cheng Yu walked out of the Special Affairs Bureau, he saw a handsome young man in casual clothes flirting with a girl from the bureau.
His cheeky remarks had the girl so entertained that she could barely tear herself away.
Cheng Yu inwardly curled his lip. Why did most people I met have such questionable personal lives? They said like attracted like. A refined gentleman like me ought to be surrounded by gentlemen, shouldn't I?
The man seemed able to see Cheng Yu. Once Cheng Yu left, he followed him.
Cheng Yu turned around and saw the man who had been flirting with the bureau girl following him. He frowned. Why did this guy look more familiar the longer I looked at him?
Then the man grinned and called out,
"Hehe, Your Highness, all done?"
