He smiled indifferently and said,
"I look forward to that day, Your Majesty Grete."
Grete said nothing, merely wiping the blood from the corner of his mouth. Just now, that utterly unreasonable destructive force had traveled through that hand and surged into his body in an instant.
Grete had already suffered considerable injuries, but he was not surprised. Belial was a demon. That was all there was to it.
Then Grete and Belial vanished from the bustling street.
Back in the sandbox world, Grete asked in confusion,
"What brings you to this world, Your Majesty?"
Belial glanced at Grete, then said leisurely,
"I'm here for the same reason you are."
Grete shook his head. He genuinely had no idea. As for why he had come to this world, naturally, it was because His Eminence was coming, so he had simply followed. If there was anything worth paying attention to in this world, Grete knew of nothing beyond that lucky fellow who carried what appeared to be a fragment of His Eminence's authority.
Seeing that the confusion in Grete's eyes seemed genuine, Belial merely smiled and said,
"Follow me. You'll find out when the time comes."
Grete nodded and followed behind Belial.
