What the Mechanicus had done was like the person who received ten thousand in pocket money every day.
Whether they were putting on a show beyond their means or truly had that kind of wealth, however, was something these member civilizations could not know.
While Shatla was minimizing the impact of this incident on the Star Sea Network, a man in tattered clothing fell out of a spatial rift within Shatla's sphere of influence.
More importantly, he had fallen into a city.
People surviving spatial turbulence were not unheard of in the vast Star Sea.
For the people on this planet, however, this really was a first.
This was the Shatla Direct Territory, located in the same star sector as the Shatla Homeworld, and it was a first- or second-tier interstellar metropolis.
Such a rare occurrence soon drew the attention of the local security forces.
It also attracted the interest of several research institutions. After all, anything that came out of spatial turbulence had considerable research value.
But when the leader of the security personnel ordered his men to restrain the figure, he heard his subordinates cry out in shock.
"Lord Berg!! This man is Lord Berg!!"

Berg—wasn't he one of the True Gods who had taken part in the Conquest War against the Mechanicus? As one of the Shatra Civilization's renowned True Gods, Berg was quite famous.
The security
