The Annihilator spoke in a synthesized mechanical voice.
"Hostile units are resisting. Under the Temporary Wartime Directive Manual, we are authorized to return fire."
The young man shouted.
"Scatter! Now!!"
Cheng Yu and the others quickly took Wood away from the warehouse.
A dense swarm of Basic Units flew out of the Titan overhead and descended straight onto the warehouse grounds.
An equally staggering number of Annihilator troops arrived with them. In the sky, Purger 0-7, Assault Unit 0-6, and some Enabler 0-7 units were mopping up the scattered Gonzales space forces.
On the ground, massed Purger and Annihilator troops rapidly spread outward from the warehouse.
Soldiers and Hunters who fought back were driven into retreat by the formidable firepower of Purifier 0-2 and Purger 0-3.
Some Gonzales civilians still out on the streets were also caught in the spillover from the fighting, suffering a small number of casualties.
The soldiers led by the young man were being swiftly wiped out by a contingent of Annihilators and Purgers.
Because of Cheng Yu, only Purifier 0-1 units came after his group. With no ranged attacks and a fairly slow movement speed, they naturally could do little harm to Cheng Yu's squad.
