The Legion's Name Officially Proclaimed! The Era of Starsea Heavenly Punishment Arrives! (Part Two)

The same enormous white circular wall stood before Jane, who made his way with practiced ease to the seat reserved for the Mechanicus.

Once again, the civilizations' ambassadors arrived one after another. Once they had all taken their seats, six familiar beams of light shone onto the six enormous seats at the very top of the circular wall.

Five of the figures were familiar, but someone different occupied the Balchik Warlord Alliance's seat this time: a young man dressed in a black military uniform, with a black military overcoat draped over his shoulders.

Jane immediately found information on this man through Infiltrator 0-8's espionage network.

Bennett McAdam, Commander-in-Chief of the Balchik Warlord Alliance, and a close friend of the Deputy Core.

Jane naturally knew that this Commander-in-Chief had put forward the motion targeting the Legion at this assembly, but that only puzzled him further. In Jane's Database, "close friend" was defined as a friend with whom one shared a deep bond. Based on Jane's most basic understanding of human relationships, this Commander-in-Chief of Balchik should have been the last person to turn against the Legion or the Deputy Core.

Then why was he targeting the Legion now? Why did he want to... Just as Jane was about to think further, a familiar warning sounded inside his glass sphere.

"An uncontrollable probability has been detected in the evolution of codename Wisdom Z-6666's emotion module! Wisdom Z-6666 must cease thinking immediately, or suffer an immediate system crash!"

Jane was already used to this. He also knew it was the Legion's means of preventing rebellion, but he still found the program that restricted his thinking irritating.

Even though Jane himself knew such feelings were wrong, with his emotion module, he felt that his thoughts were beyond his own control.
