He was the highest-ranking overseer of the Legion's current research projects, as well as the first Mecha tasked with deciphering any unknown systems the Legion encountered.
The Wisdom K-Series looked largely the same as the Wise Unit Z Series. The only difference was that, unlike the Z Series' spherical glass heads, the K-Series had more oval-shaped glass heads, filled with the same assortment of glowing cables.
Since the Research Institute's database existed independently, intelligence about the Insect Swarm's forms within the network world was also stored there.
Only the Mainframe, Supreme Intelligence, who served as the Legion's soul, and the Deputy Core, Cheng Yu, who served as the Legion's brain, had clearance to access the Research Institute's intelligence directly.
Whenever other Mecha with Level One Clearance wanted to access the Research Institute's files directly, they needed a Key Command issued by either the Mainframe or the Deputy Core, and every Key Command had an expiration time.
Having already experienced entering the Legion's communications network world, Cheng Yu decided to take a look at the Research Institute's database as well.
As his consciousness blurred once more, Cheng Yu arrived in another mosaic world. Unlike the green mosaic world of the communications network, however, this one resembled a world of pixels.
This time, there was nowhere for Cheng Yu to stand. He simply floated in midair, surrounded by endless cubes of different colors.
