Purger 0-6, the sixth model in the Legion's Purger Series, was its basic anti-organic melee unit for space warfare, typically deployed against gigantic space creatures.
Purger 0-7, the seventh model in the Legion's Purger Series, was its basic anti-organic ranged unit for space warfare, typically deployed to deliver ranged strikes against hostile organic entities.
With support from Regulator 0-3, Purger 0-6 and Purger 0-7 launched decapitation strikes directly against the giant units the insect swarm guarded most heavily.
Under the control of the Wisdoms, this tactic involved Regulator 0-3 sending one 0-6 and one 0-7 on a suicide attack. After appearing instantly beside a giant insect monster, the Purger 0-7 immediately fired its Carbon-Based Chain Destruction Cannon.
Once the behemoth's outermost carbon-based carapace had been blasted apart, Purger 0-6 burrowed straight through the gaping hole into the giant insect monster's body, then wreaked havoc to its heart's content.
Of course, the outcome was that both the ambushing Purger 0-7 and the Purger 0-6 would be torn apart by the insect swarm surging toward them.
But thanks to the carbon-shattering coating on Purger 0-7's outer armor, it could always cripple the first insects to touch it before the swarm tore it apart.
Although the insect swarm had neither emotions nor a sense of pain, the Wisdoms still considered this a worthwhile trade.
And so, the tactic of trading two mechas for one enemy heavy unit was settled upon.
Meanwhile, within the Purger 0-7 formation, countless Purger 0-7s fired their Carbon-Based Chain Destruction Cannons at full power, cutting down vast swathes of the insect swarm.
Although the swarm's numbers showed no sign of dwindling, it could no longer advance a single step. Reality had once again proven one thing: against overwhelming firepower, numbers offered no advantage.
The insect swarm's commander seemed to
