Mephitican was a succubus, but more than that, she was a demon!
An Epic demon who had claimed the title of Demon Sovereign through her own luck and strength, no less. She had never been weak; it was just that her beauty and bedroom skills so often overshadowed her power.

Dodging another of Grete's attacks, Mephitican waved her hand lightly.
A massive scythe swept toward Grete the instant it took shape.
Surging flames swallowed the scythe again, but it sliced through them and continued toward Grete, ready to reap him.

A huge gash opened across Grete's face.
This time, however, no lava-like demon blood flowed out.
Grete's eyes blazed with fury. Since claiming the title of Demon Sovereign, this was the first time anyone had scarred his face.
Rather than restrain herself at the sight of his furious gaze, Mephitican let the mockery curling her lips deepen.
"Lord Grete, you seem to be protecting something. What could it be? Won't you tell me? As your favorite bedmate, I'm sure you'd be willing to tell me, wouldn't you?"
Grete scoffed at her words.
"Stop probing, Mephitican. I told you, the waters of the Chaos Sea run deep. You're out of your depth. Getting involved in certain affairs for no reason won't do you any good."
Although Mephitican's expression remained unchanged, she kept her guard up as she looked at Grete and continued.
"Since you say this is all a setup, could you tell me why you're part of it?"
Grete's expression did not change.
"Because I'm already
