It was not just Kuang Cang. Every Heaven Peering cultivator in the Eternal True World sensed it now, and they, too, sighed softly. They sighed for the Nian Beast, but also for themselves. Though Heaven Peering was the highest realm beneath the Sages, they remained just as powerless before the Heavenly Dao. Whatever heaven demanded of them, no amount of struggling could change it.
