"Yes! All the darkness has been swept away! It looks like we made the right choice!" Najenda sighed softly as she watched the townspeople chatting and laughing around her. What the Holy Church had done over the past few days had left a profound impression on her.
"Sis! I want that!" Akame had been about to share her own thoughts, but Kurome, who was holding her hand, interrupted her. She pointed at a snack stall, longing written all over her face.
"All right, all right. I'll buy it for you!" Akame nodded helplessly. Both she and Kurome were little gluttons, after all. If the Holy Church hadn't recently paid everyone in Night Raid such a generous salary, she really would have doubted whether she could afford to feed her sister.

"What? Why am I paying again? Don't we all get the same salary?" Leone jumped aside and pushed Lubbock away, exasperated.
"Back when we were in the Revolutionary Army, none of us had money, but you always managed to get some, Boss Leone. It's become
