Yet he still could not understand why his big sister had kept the Holy Church's main forces in this world. At first, he could have said it was to find the source of the Holy Light, but they had already learned where this world's Holy Light came from.

By rights, the Holy Church could have moved on to a greater stage of development, leaving some of its forces behind to grow in this world. Yet so many years had passed, and its main forces still had not withdrawn. This puzzled both Rich and most of the Holy Church's senior leaders.
