The entire battlefield had been swallowed by raging fire! Billowing smoke blotted out the sky, flames soared upward, and waves of heat rolled toward them.
Even Jaina, who already knew how powerful the Holy Church was, widened her lovely eyes. "These are the Holy Church's Auxiliary Personnel?!" Only moments earlier, she had watched her kingdom's soldiers teeter on the brink of having their defenses breached.
As Jaina hurriedly chanted a spell, she saw two white figures swiftly vanish from the ranks. The attacks that followed stopped the incantation on her lips.
