  • Night Raid entered the Shinobi World, and Akame reassured Kurome that Pope Ria would cure her illness.
  • Yi Yong explained that they were at a military base, and Shayi used the Great Enlightenment Technique to teach Night Raid the world’s language.

Ch. 165An audience

Ria ordered the portal secured, while Sabo and Luffy convinced Ace to investigate the light pillar near the garbage dump.

  • Ria sent Axel through the Holy Light Teleportation Array after warning him to return if the world's repulsive force became too strong.
  • Axel was crushed by the world's force, but the Holy Grail blocked the lightning and scattered the clouds; Kizaru briefly noticed that his Glint-Glint Fruit powers had become unresponsive.

  • The teacher invited the class to share their dreams, and Luffy said he wanted to become King of the Pirates while Ace said he wanted to break free of someone’s shackles.
  • The teacher urged Ace and Luffy to pursue their dreams without hurting others, and told Luffy that his vision sounded more like an adventurer than a pirate.
  • Sabo asked whether he could become someone like the teacher, and she encouraged him to follow that goal without wavering.

Ch. 170On the eve of the attack

Ch. 176Shanks's arrival

As more than a thousand Marine warships headed for the East Blue, Shanks returned to Windmill Village and met Luffy's teacher, Mu Le, at Masno's tavern. After learning the Holy Church was prepared to resist the Buster Call, Shanks and Mu Le left to test each other's strength, while Luffy hoped they would still share a meal afterward.
