"Boom!"
His feet slammed into the ground, sending a shudder through the earth and kicking up clouds of dust. King bent his knees slightly, his gaze grave.
He looked down at his blade, which would not stop humming and trembling, and horror filled his heart.
With nothing but his hand, River had caught his downward slash-his ultimate move-and even hurled him out of the air with a flick of his arm.
He was an absolute monster.
"No wonder two captains on the level of the Four Emperors went to such lengths!"
Muttering to himself, the Chief All-Star of the Kaido Pirates felt immense pressure.
Just then, the ground began to shake.
"Roar!"
A low roar rang out as an enormous body thundered across the ground toward them. With his massive frame and long neck, it was none other than Queen, who had climbed back to his feet.
Blood covered his face, and patches of his skin had split open. That earlier punch had clearly dealt him a grievous wound.
"River!!!"
Roaring at the top of his lungs, Queen glared furiously and leaped into the air, charging toward River.
"Oh? You can still fight?"
"As expected of an All-Star. Your tenacity is extraordinary!"
River looked down, a flicker of surprise in his eyes, but he paid it little mind.
If one blow had not put him down, he would simply deliver another.
"Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh!"
Queen's enormous bulk whipped up fierce winds. In an instant, he reached River, casting a vast shadow over him.
Before the enormous Brachiosaurus, River was as tiny as a speck of dust. Yet as their eyes met, his presence was far more imposing.
"Roar!"
A tiger's roar shook the heavens. The phantom tiger behind River threw back its head and roared, radiating an awe-inspiring aura.
