"What?!"
Rob Lucci's eyes widened as he stared at the man before him in shock.
Beneath the morning sun, flecks of golden light shimmered across the man's profile, lending him an almost sacred, dazzling air.
Attack Mary Geoise?!
That was something virtually no one in the world, whoever they might be, could even imagine!
What kind of place was Mary Geoise, atop the Red Line?
It was where the Celestial Dragons lived, a place the world called the Holy Land. Isolated from the rest of the world, it was practically a separate realm, another dimension.
Eight hundred years. Throughout the long eight hundred years of the World Government's existence, nothing like this had ever happened.
No one had done it before, and probably no one ever would again!
Such a feat was something no one in the world should have been able to accomplish!
Not even Pirate King Roger could have done it.
"Lucci..."
A soft sigh came from beside him, snapping Rob Lucci back to his senses. He looked at the man with a grave, stunned expression.
At that moment, even he, proud to his very bones, could not help admiring the man before him.
At the very least, he could never have done something like that. Deep down, he still held the World Government in fearful reverence.
He even had to obey the orders of a superior like Spandam.
And that only deepened Rob Lucci's admiration for River. To him, a man who had done such a thing to the World Government was nothing short of a god.
"Something is wrong with this world!"
"Far too much is wrong with it!"
"I once had a friend named Saint Homing."
River's voice drifted over again, leaving Lucci momentarily stunned, a strange look entering his eyes.
