Copperhead was reckless as hell and crude as hell, with little popularity or reputation among the Orks. He often stole other Nobs' fun. Of the Kill Team's five hundred Heavy Nobs, he had fought at least four hundred.

But perhaps because he had followed Cheng Mingrui on a Waaagh! through the Necron Dynasty, growing from a Boy into a powerful Nob, he admired the Sneaky Boss enormously and was genuinely loyal to Cheng Mingrui.

Quite a few Nobs in the Kill Team felt the same way.

Didn't all Orks love a Waaagh!? Cheng Mingrui had never expected things to develop this way, so he asked, "Raise your hand if you don't want to leave."

As he watched a little under half the Nobs raise their right hands, a flicker of emotion stirred in Cheng Mingrui's heart.

There was little affection in Ork society. Laws simply did not exist. Violence, slaughter, and doing whatever they pleased were how most Orks lived.

Yet despite that racial culture, so many Ork bosses had raised their hands when Cheng Mingrui asked.

Cheng Mingrui felt his nose sting. He quickly pinched it and said in a muffled voice, "If you want to stay and follow me, you'll have to obey orders. I'm planning to build some things here, and none of you gets to slack off."

When they heard they could choose to stay, Boss Copperhead was the first to cheer loudly. Watching these vicious Ork Nobs cheer like children, Cheng Mingrui quietly tucked away the emotion he felt at that moment.

Cheng Mingrui thought it over. Since the Greenskins all wanted different things, he might as well let those who wanted to disperse do so, letting them branch out on their own while he kept the most loyal and obedient ones.
