It had pierced Boss Slick's Ship's thick armor, yet the violent friction had barely heated its surface. When Boss Copperhead touched it, it was cool rather than hot.

A few drops of black liquid dripped down from overhead. Boss Copperhead hurriedly dodged aside. The liquid landed on the floor at his feet, and a corrosive hiss reached his ears as it ate away a large patch of the metal deck.

Rottooth reacted fastest. He realized that the Tyranids might have infiltrated the ship long ago and were specifically targeting Boss Slick's Ship's bridge. He immediately activated the emergency defenses, covering the bridge in a layer of folded space and leaving only a single passage connected to the warship's outer structure, making it easier to defend.

Some of the warship's control consoles had been destroyed, but the operating system had built-in redundancies. Rottooth quickly activated the Krakka Teleporter for the third time, teleporting Boss Slick's Ship far away from the battlefield where the Tyranid Fleet and the Ork Fleet were fighting.
