Even the World Devourer could not endure the agony of having its skull drilled open. It thrashed its body and shook its head wildly, trying to throw off the Mighty Big Boss piloted by Daft.
But the Mighty Big Boss had been designed for precisely this situation. More than a dozen massive hooked spears sprang out from inside the drill, inflicting damage while anchoring it firmly in place.
When its frantic thrashing proved useless, the World Devourer brought all its tentacles into play. Had the Great Devourer not ordered it to keep a firm hold on Boss Slick's Ship, its survival instincts might already have driven it to release every tentacle and focus entirely on attacking the Mighty Big Boss.
Inside the control room, the red alarm lights bathed Daft's green face in crimson. The mech's intelligent system also determined that it could not withstand so many attacks of such immense power.
Daft did not activate the Krakka Teleporter a second time. Like Boss Slick's Ship, the Mighty Big Boss could teleport three times, but instead, he broke into a crazed grin.
"Waaaaaagh!!!"
With a roar, he detonated the drill buried deep inside the World Devourer's head, blasting a huge opening in it. Then he piloted the Mighty Big Boss straight into the hole.
The World Devourer's attacks missed, and it only succeeded in battering its own head painfully.
Once inside, Daft grew even more exhilarated. He carved a bloody path with the power klaw, pushing deep into the World Devourer's brain.
Daft burrowed inward like a madman, while the World Devourer writhed and trembled in agony.
Only when Daft felt he had gone deep enough did he turn his attention to the red button in the middle of the control room. The red button marked "Waaagh!" was flashing brightly.
