Atop the Psychic Power Convergence Tower, Little Slick exchanged looks with his original body. The view from both sides as they looked at each other was fascinating, and Boss Slick watched for quite a while.
The Orks had now made decisive progress in exploring the Webway and secured a foothold, but that was not enough. The Webway was vast, and the Greenskins had occupied only a small part of it.
After personally sensing the Mother Terminal, Boss Slick discovered that the Old Ones had designed the Webway with remarkable ingenuity.
The Mother Terminal was not absolute. It was not simply an object that could be passed from one person to another, but an outward manifestation of the Webway-a form of recognition that the Webway itself granted its controller.

In theory, if a being possessed enough psychic power to permeate the entire Webway, they could control all of it.
But could such a powerful being exist? Could psychic power permeate a Webway the size of the Galaxy? If the Old Ones had been that powerful, how had they failed?
Beyond that, Boss Slick also discovered that when a species made up the overwhelming majority of the Webway's population and controlled it for long enough, the Webway would recognize them and grant them control. A Control Terminal would crystallize automatically.
The plan to keep sending Orks into the Webway could not stop. After all, with all of Octarius and part of the Ultima Segmentum under his control, countless Orks sprouted from the soil every day.
Once these Orks crawled out of the soil, they had nothing to do but fight each
