The memories seemed to plunge the man into a nightmare, and he clutched his head in anguish.
"Out of curiosity, I climbed onto the roof to watch those green monsters get defeated, get slaughtered. It... really was a slaughter, but the ones being slaughtered were the Planetary Defense Force..."

The man reached desperately toward Pex. As long as Pex admitted he was an angel of the Emperor, the man would accept it as fact and obey
