The Miao people beside the bonfire were still cooking Cone Ox.
The aroma grew richer, and everyone's spirits rose higher.
Suddenly, someone looked up toward Nuo God Mountain.
One person was only the beginning. One after another, the Miao people raised their heads, their eyes filled with profound reverence.
"The Cave God has manifested." The satisfaction on Miao Zhi's face deepened.
"Not just the Cave God, but the Corpse King too. The Medicine Person will probably appear as well. He truly is the heaven-chosen Miao King. Our White Miao lineage has finally lived to see its fortunes turn!" Miao Ji's delight likewise grew.
"I wonder what gifts the Cave God, Corpse King, and Medicine Person will bestow on the Miao King. They must be even happier and more gratified than we are," Miao Shan said with deep feeling.
After so many generations, all the Miao people of Three Miao Village had long since come to regard themselves as White Miao.
There were indeed no "Black Miao" people on Nuo God Mountain.
But Nuo God Temple was not the only thing there.
There were also the Fallen Flower Cave Maidens, the Burden-Bearer Corpse King, and Medicine Person Valley.
Many, many years ago, before the last Miao King entered the state of true understanding, Miao Kings, Burden-Bearers, and Grand Shamanic Healers who did not choose corpse liberation would enter their respective places and become Cave Gods, Corpse Kings, and Medicine Persons.
This was also why they felt completely at ease letting Luo Bin climb the mountain alone.
There could be no danger on Nuo God Mountain!
