Now, one Moss Eater after another began emerging from the Blackblood Vines.
The Moss Eaters grew to roughly the length of a forearm, then dropped off.
They were malformed infants, both boys and girls.
They raised their heads, looked up at the sky, and began to cry.
Their piercing, venomous cries formed an even more grating chorus, drowning out the wind and counteracting the thunder.
Amid the crying were shrill, babbling screams, as though they were demanding to know why they had to die the moment they were born, why they had been treated so cruelly.
The rain still fell thick and fast, but Luo Bin's face was no longer the only one reflected in the droplets. The faces of those Grudge Infant Moss Eaters appeared in them too!
Their despair, their sorrow, their pain, and their hatred were reflected there!
"Heaven's mercy?"
"We don't need it!"
