"That depends on when they arrive." A smile returned to Rinpoche's face. He felt no pressure at all. "I don't think you'll be able to take my head with you. Whatever Dakini sees, I see as well."
"All right." Luo Bin nodded.
Their group had set out roughly two days earlier.
Before that, Luo Bin had been staying in Dergé Thangka Temple.
Every so often, he went out to let Sinpo Baqin know he was still there.
Even after the Iron-Staff Lama and the others left, he met with Sinpo Baqin once more. He said he had found a lead: Jade Corpse was inside Dergé Thangka Temple, and he was trying to pinpoint her location. Many of the temple's eminent monks had left, giving him the perfect opportunity.
Sinpo Baqin did not urge him to hurry. He even warned Luo Bin not to be deceived by appearances. Dergé Thangka Temple certainly had more than a few eminent monks, and there was no way all of them would leave.
This was Luo Bin's way of throwing him off the scent. Only afterward did he return to the temple and leave through the underground cave to rendezvous with the Iron-Staff Lama.
Naturally, Rinpoche set out from where the wild yaks had gathered. Deep in the grasslands, he was even less likely to attract Sinpo Baqin's attention!
The plan had gone far more smoothly than expected. Even now, Luo Bin's heart kept racing.
Especially since he had never even shown himself.
For Kong An, this would be a killing blow!
The Chief Seat had not come, but Rinpoche, who had been killed twenty-seven times, had brought a vast procession of lamas and ascetic monks to the foot of New Black City Monastery!
What expression would Kong An wear?
Of course, nothing in this
