After almost another ten minutes of walking, they finally stopped outside a stilt house.
"This is where you'll be staying for now. Someone will bring the others over," Miao Yi said, giving Luo Bin a long look.
"Thank you." Luo Bin cupped his hands and bowed slightly.
Miao Yi then gave Miao Miao another searching look. Without acknowledging Luo Bin, he turned and left.
"See? No danger at all. It's perfectly safe."
In the sunlight, Miao Miao's smile bloomed like a flower.

"I'll take you upstairs for a look." With her hands behind her back and her fingers interlaced, Miao Miao climbed to the second floor of the stilt house.
