Luo Bin abruptly retreated, trying to put some distance between himself and the bed.
Granny Li suddenly sprang upright, her hunched body straightening completely!
Then she raised both arms, thrust them forward, and lunged off the bed!
Her pitch-black fingernails stabbed toward Luo Bin's heart!
In that split second, Luo Bin whipped out an object-the Lightning-Struck Chestnut Heartwood!
Without hesitation, he swung it at her.
It struck Granny Li's arm with a sizzling sound, sending up a cloud of white smoke.
Momentum carried her body toward Luo Bin nonetheless.
Luo Bin reacted with lightning speed, simultaneously dodging to the right.
With a dull thud, Granny Li hit the ground and rolled to a stop at the threshold.
Her body kept convulsing. Every strand of her white hair stood on end, and saliva kept spilling from her mouth.
Fourth Master Gray squeaked shrilly. He did not approach Granny Li, staying beside Luo Bin's leg instead.
"Corpse reanimation?"
Luo Bin's heart pounded.
He had not witnessed many cases of corpse reanimation. Granny Li's condition was beyond anything he knew.
Certain physical signs on Granny Li had led Luo Bin to that conclusion.
