"": "Luo Bin had another conjecture. If it proved true, the mountains here were not merely immense-their feng shui was grand beyond imagination, far surpassing even the Elephant-End Turtle Ruins below.
Although that place qualified as an immortal formation and occupied a sizable valley, it still seemed small compared with what lay before them. At most, it was a pearl of the South Sea, while this mountain pillar was more like an enormous, precious tree!
The three continued forward.
The peaks were staggered, and every one of them was still far from the mountain pillar. With a flagstone path beneath their feet, Luo Bin dared not take any shortcuts and followed the route obediently.
Taking a shortcut would mean entering the burial grounds. Luo Bin had no desire to introduce any unforeseen complications.
"Could all twenty-four burial configurations be here? In principle, each requires a complete feng shui layout, and every layout must be different..." Xu Lu murmured after passing the Taoist Grounds on one peak.
"Every peak is different." The excitement surging through Luo Bin had not diminished.
"All right... that's true. That's what makes this so frightening. To think such a miraculous place exists among all the feng shui formations in the world. And even something this miraculous can't conceal the heavens?" Xu Lu looked regretful, his smile tinged with bitterness.
Luo Bin fell silent. Looking up again, he narrowed his eyes slightly and said, "A mountain this tall thrusts straight into the clouds. Conceal the heavens? Doesn't this place itself count as heaven?"
"Huh?" Xu Lu froze.
Luo Bin said nothing more and concentrated on walking.
They walked for another three full days.
The three passed all twenty-four peaks before finally stopping at a sheer cliff at the end of the flagstone path.
