After surviving the tomb, Luo Bin planned to travel with Bai Xian to Divine Firmament Mountain while Huang Zhili tried to draw out his soul.

• Dai Zhixiong discovered the Six Yin Mountain captives carried white Life Cores, but Kong An arrived, fought him, and freed Luo Bin and the others at the cost of his own life.
• Luo Bin’s group reached the City God Temple, then took refuge at Chen Zu’s villa, where Luo Bin agreed to Xu Lu’s offer to lead him to a rumored ascended benevolent corpse in exchange for the Talisman Inkstone.
• Xu Lu led Luo Bin, Zhang Yunxi, and Hu Jin to a hidden tomb in Flood Dragon Mountain, where they found a woman joined to a huge white snake and learned the tomb’s feng shui had sustained her ascension.

Luo Bin’s visit to Divine Firmament Mountain turned into a struggle over Bai Xian’s fate and the Old Abbey Master’s attempted recovery. After escaping the mountain and fighting Bai Qingjin, Luo Bin reunited with Xu Lu, Bai Xian, and Shen Dong, and the group set out to find a place to rest.

• Xu Lu joined Luo Bin and Bai Xian on their journey toward Primordial Calculation’s old Mountain Gate, but He Lianxin later tried to pull Luo Bin’s soul from his body.
• Bai Ying brought Luo Bin and Xu Lu to Divine Firmament Mountain, where Bai Xiaoshan questioned Luo Bin about Bai Guanli, Bai Su, and Bai Xian.

Luo Bin pursued the forces behind the Gray Immortals, hoping to recover Bai Wei and understand Fourth Master Gray’s new backer. The Old Immortal took the Corpse Core and the defeated Immortal Creatures, while Bai Wei died and the current master of Five Immortals Temple arrived.

Luo Bin and his companions crossed the Primordial River and broke the soul-trapping formation around Auspicious Qi Town, then fled with Divine Firmament Mountain pursuing them. The group reached a Taoist ground near the mountains, where Dai Xingjie admitted to covering their tracks and challenged Luo Bin’s judgment of him.

• Bai Wei returned to Old Yan’s courtyard with a powerful aura, apologized to Yan Nan, and offered to take her as his disciple, but she declined and called him Grandpa Bai.
• Luo Bin and his companions reached the Primordial River, where Liu Shuisheng agreed to ferry them across if they helped restore Liu Shengqi’s soul.
• The group entered Auspicious Qi Town as souls and discovered that its dangers trapped the dead, while Xu Lu hid from the gentlemen in Tang suits who had taken his soul.
