Ch. 1446The Miao King's might!

The Old Miao King sensed that Luo Bin was in trouble but could not leave Three Miao Cave to help him. At the Sacred Way entrance, Yuan Tianshu mistook Gu-Bound decoys for Luo Bin and was caught by the prison ghosts as a swarm of Gu insects attacked.

  • The Old Miao King told Miao Zi that the Miao King was in trouble and that it was too late to send help, then acknowledged that Luo Bin had not disgraced Three Perils Mountain.
  • Yuan Tianshu discovered that He Gongde’s Fate Talisman was intact and learned that puppets were moving toward the Sacred Way.
  • Yuan Tianshu left the Mountain Valley and met He Gongde at the Stone Platform, where they waited for Luo Bin to emerge.
  • He Gongde pointed out several figures among the puppets, and Yuan Tianshu attacked a figure he mistook for Luo Bin, only to find a Gu-Bound Person.
  • Heart-Rending Hell’s prison ghosts hooked Yuan Tianshu, and a flood of Gu insects swept toward him.

Ch. 1447Calculate! Calculate! Calculate!

Luo Bin attacked Yuan Tianshu with Gu worms and the Moss Eater prison guards, but Yuan Tianshu escaped his body and nearly seized Luo Bin's soul. The Chief Seat Deity intervened, declaring Yuan Tianshu a sacrifice and beginning to devour his yin spirit.

  • Luo Bin sent Gu worms and the Moss Eater prison guards and ghost to restrain Yuan Tianshu, but the White Flower Lantern failed to stop them.
  • Yuan Tianshu used the Thunderstruck Blood Peach Sword to drive back the prison guards while Luo Bin played the Miao King's Ocarina and unleashed swarms of Gu worms.
  • The prison guards and ghost recovered and attacked Yuan Tianshu's Gu-covered body, while the Black-Gold Toad joined the assault.
  • Yuan Tianshu left his body as a yin spirit, appeared before Luo Bin, and tried to pull Luo Bin's soul from his body.
  • The Chief Seat Deity emerged through Luo Bin, declared Yuan Tianshu a sacrifice, and began sucking in his yin spirit as Luo Bin's darkened hands grabbed it.

Ch. 1448An absolute advantage?

Luo Bin’s carefully prepared attack appeared to overwhelm Yuan Tianshu, but Yuan Tianshu survived by transferring his Yin Spirit into a puppet and using Witchcraft Curse to control Luo Bin. The chapter ended with Yuan Tianshu lighting the White Flower Lantern and freezing the Chief Seat Deity in place.

  • Yuan Tianshu shed a wisp of Yin Spirit to escape Luo Bin’s grasp, but the Chief Seat Deity swallowed the decoy while the Black-Gold Toad and Gu Worms suppressed Yuan Tianshu’s body.
  • A Heart-Rending Hell Ghost pulled out Yuan Tianshu’s heart and placed it inside its own body, after which Yuan Tianshu’s body broke into pieces and his two Corpse Cores were exposed.
  • The Chief Seat Deity picked up the Corpse Cores and lanterns, then threw them toward the puppets as an invisible force made it attack its own fontanel.
  • The Chief Seat Deity broke Luo Bin’s hands and legs to stop the force controlling him, while Yuan Tianshu appeared in a puppet holding both lanterns.
  • Yuan Tianshu explained that his Yin Spirit had moved into a puppet and taunted Luo Bin about his parents, then lit the White Flower Lantern and froze the approaching Chief Seat Deity.

Ch. 1449Swallowing the Core!

Yuan Tianshu overwhelmed Luo Bin, crippled and trapped him, then forced him to swallow a Corpse Core while preparing to extract his soul. Yuan Tianshu suddenly exploded, leaving Luo Bin alive but baffled, while Luo Xianshen encountered a strange old man on Mountain Cabinet’s mountain road.

  • Yuan Tianshu used the White Flower Lantern and Thunderstruck Blood Peach Sword to kill the approaching prison guards and Heart-Rending Hell Ghost, then disintegrated the Chief Seat Deity.
  • Yuan Tianshu taunted Luo Bin and attacked the Chief Seat Deity when it re-formed, but the shadow beneath Luo Bin’s feet escaped his strike.
  • Yuan Tianshu tore off Luo Bin’s Skin Person disguise and demanded to know where Mr. Mao was.
  • Yuan Tianshu forced Luo Bin to swallow a Corpse Core, causing his body to split open as his limbs healed and he struggled to move.
  • Yuan Tianshu suddenly clutched his abdomen, threw the lanterns aside, and exploded, shattering his Corpse Core.
  • Luo Xianshen followed a vicious ghost’s aura through Mountain Cabinet and stopped when he saw an old man in a Tang suit with two lumps of flesh on his cheeks.

Ch. 1450Four-Rules Mountain, Luo Xianshen

Luo Xianshen encountered a fallen Yin-Yang Practitioner and a group claiming to be Cabinet Mountain Disciples as evil spirits closed in. He sheltered with Yuan Bi’s group, learned two rules for surviving the mountain, and heard a voice outside warn him that they were lying.

  • Luo Xianshen found an old man afflicted by a great ghost and recalled destroying villagers who had been corpse-poisoned.
  • Four Tang Suit-wearing people emerged, and Luo Xianshen questioned whether they were human.
  • Yuan Bi claimed he and the others belonged to the Cabinet Mountain sanctuary and urged Luo Xianshen to escape the approaching crowd of strange-smiling people.
  • Luo Xianshen followed Yuan Bi into a tree hollow, where the group sealed the entrance and explained that oil lamps kept evil spirits out and that outsiders should not trust them.
  • Luo Xianshen introduced himself as Luo Xianshen of Four-Rules Mountain, then heard knocking and a voice outside accuse the people inside of lying.

Ch. 1451Would you lend a hand to uphold heaven's justice and punish the wicked?

Luo Xianshen heard Yuan Bi’s account of the Cabinet Mountain Taoist Grounds’s dangers and agreed to help, while privately questioning whether the disciples were telling the truth. Yuan Yinxin vanished from the road and unexpectedly crawled into the tree hollow, leaving his disciples puzzled by his warning glance at Luo Xianshen.

  • Luo Xianshen used a House-Suppressing Talisman to silence the spirits outside and asked Yuan Bi what had happened.
  • Yuan Bi explained that Evil Sect Masters and a terrifying presence had threatened Cabinet Mountain, then described spirit mediums who captured disciples, harmed Yuan Yinxin, and pursued a vehicle carrying five purple-robed Taoists.
  • Yuan Bi asked Luo Xianshen to save Yuan Yinxin and help punish the wicked, and Luo Xianshen said someone outside the mountain could help.
  • Luo Xianshen and the disciples noticed that Yuan Yinxin had disappeared from the road, then watched him crawl into the tree hollow.
  • Yuan Yinxin gave the disciples a cold, warning glance, and they concealed their confusion about why he had not dealt with Luo Xianshen.

Ch. 1452Destroying the Lanterns! An outrageous betrayal?

Luo Xianshen left the Cabinet Mountain Taoist Grounds and searched the Highway for Xu Jin, hoping to find a way to bring Mao Yousan into the mountain. Meanwhile, Luo Bin used his gu to damage Yuan Tianshu’s lanterns, and Yuan Tianshu suddenly retreated in fear.

  • Yuan Yinxin warned Luo Xianshen that reopening Cabinet Mountain’s gate would break its restraints, then sent him away.
  • Luo Xianshen walked along the Highway, warded off evil spirits with the Prison-Breaking Incantation and Four-Rules Mirror, and searched for Xu Jin.
  • Luo Bin realized the Golden Silkworm Gu had destroyed a corpse core and helped tear apart Yuan Tianshu’s occupied body, but he remained gravely wounded.
  • Gu worms assembled around Luo Bin and moved his body as Yuan Tianshu returned in another body and pursued him toward a cliff.
  • Luo Bin directed the Golden Silkworm Gu and Black-Gold Toad to dissolve the Purple Flower Lantern and damage the White Flower Lantern.
  • Yuan Tianshu raged at Luo Bin’s betrayal, then froze and slowly backed away with fear in his eyes.

Ch. 1453The Tomb Guardian appeared!

Luo Bin destroyed the Purple Flower Lantern and White Flower Lantern, expelled the corpse core, and discovered that the Tomb Guardian had appeared at the stone bridge. The Tomb Guardian attacked Luo Bin but stopped after pulling an object from his chest and knelt before it.

  • Luo Bin destroyed the two flower lanterns and vomited up the corpse core Yuan Tianshu had forced down his throat.
  • Luo Bin noticed that Yuan Tianshu, the Chief Seat Deity, the prison beings, and the puppets were all watching the stone bridge as the Tomb Guardian appeared.
  • Luo Bin tried to flee, but puppets surrounded the stone platform and blocked his escape.
  • The Tomb Guardian approached Luo Bin and stabbed at his heart, but an object beneath his clothes stopped the blow.
  • The Tomb Guardian pulled the object from Luo Bin's chest and knelt while holding it in both hands.

Ch. 1454A Branch Venue Master Knelt Before the Venue Master

Luo Bin followed the Tomb Guardian into a hidden Tomb Chamber, where he uncovered eerie defenses sealing unknown entities inside the mountain. The Tomb Guardian returned the Moon-Shaped Stone and knelt before Luo Bin, leaving him to wonder whether the guardian was pleading for him to act.

  • The Tomb Guardian carried the Moon-Shaped Stone through the Tomb Passages while puppets pushed Luo Bin along behind him.
  • In the deep darkness, Luo Bin felt icy hands clasp his, but his flashlight revealed no one nearby.
  • Luo Bin used Rewind to inspect a bare Tomb Chamber where the Tomb Guardian knelt before a cracked door surrounded by flesh-and-bone talismans.
  • Luo Bin found a Ten-Thousand-Year Lamp in a stone basin and lit it, revealing hands pressing through the chamber walls and heads embedded in the talismans.
  • Luo Bin blew out the lamp, causing the hands to withdraw, then used Rewind and saw the Tomb Guardian kneeling prostrate behind the returned Moon-Shaped Stone.

Ch. 1455Find Me, Seal the Gate with Talismans

Luo Bin escaped Yuan Tianshu’s search by hiding among gu worms in the dark Tomb Passage, while Yuan Tianshu mistakenly believed the Tomb Guardian would restore Luo Bin’s soul. The chapter left Luo Bin waiting for nightfall, when he hoped to escape Yuan Tianshu, still uncertain how Yuan had controlled him.

  • Luo Bin interpreted the Tomb Guardian’s broken words as a request to find a soul fragment and seal the gate with talismans, then retreated from the Tomb Chamber after his flashlight shattered.
  • Yuan Tianshu lamented losing his ascended corpse and lanterns, then entered the tomb expecting Luo Bin’s soul to have returned.
  • Yuan Tianshu found Luo Bin missing, searched the coffins, and repeatedly returned to the chamber, but failed to find him.
  • Luo Bin emerged after Yuan Tianshu finally left, explaining that he had hidden on the Tomb Passage ceiling beneath a formation of gu worms.
  • Luo Bin decided to wait until nightfall to use the jailer ghost prison and the Heart-Gouging Prison to escape, while wondering how Yuan Tianshu had controlled him.

Ch. 1456Gu-Breaking Ocarina Tune!

Luo Bin realized the Witchcraft Curse might use gu to control its victims, then used the Miao King's Ocarina to drive hidden gu worms from his body and prevent Yuan Tianshu from controlling him. He returned to the Tomb Guardian and began playing the tune, hoping to test whether he could control the curse's gu.

  • Luo Bin connected the Witchcraft Curse to Gu Arts, suspecting that gu worms used the human body as a medium to create String Puppets.
  • Luo Bin played the Gu-Breaking Ocarina Tune and felt hidden gu worms writhing beneath his skin as the tune forced them out.
  • The Golden Silkworm Gu and Black-Gold Toad devoured the exposed worms, freeing Luo Bin from Yuan Tianshu's control.
  • Luo Bin returned to the inner Tomb Chamber, where ghostly cloth figures lit the room, and played the tune beside the Tomb Guardian.
  • When the Tomb Guardian showed no reaction, Luo Bin considered using Gu Arts to control the gu associated with the Witchcraft Curse.

Ch. 1457An Evil Immortal's Dark Arts?

Luo Xianshen tracked the missing Xu Jin and Dao Corpses through Cabinet Mountain, then encountered a Spirit Medium and a group led by the Witch Queen Yi Yi. After Yi Yi’s dark arts failed against him, Luo Xianshen pinned her to a tree with five bronze swords and demanded to know where Xu Jin was.

  • Luo Xianshen found Xu Jin’s wrecked car but lost the trail, then spotted a White-Furred Fox posing as a woman and killed it with the High Heaven Sword.
  • Yi Yi and her followers emerged from the woods, having mistaken Luo Xianshen for another Cabinet Mountain disciple, and confronted him.
  • Yi Yi used a knife to transfer a wound onto Luo Xianshen, but his incantation redirected the injury back to her.
  • Luo Xianshen recited the Spirit Sword Incantation and pinned Yi Yi to a tree with five bronze swords.
  • Luo Xianshen asked where Xu Jin was, and Yi Yi ordered her followers to kill him.

Ch. 1458Rolling Heavenly Thunder

Luo Xianshen unleashed a lethal triple Thunder Method against the Five-Immortal Spirit Mediums, while the resulting heavenly thunder drew the attention of Yuan Yinxin, Yuan Tianshu, and Zhou Sanming. The battle’s outcome remained unknown as the observers reacted to the storm and continued their own plans.

  • Luo Xianshen combined Cloud Summoning, Thunder-Driving, and Thunderstorm incantations, making the Immortal Creatures flee and calling down dozens of bolts of heavenly thunder on the Spirit Mediums.
  • Yuan Yinxin and his companions watched the lightning from the forest, and Yuan Yinxin praised Yuan Pi for leading them to Luo Xianshen’s encounter with the Spirit Mediums.
  • Yuan Tianshu heard the thunder near the valley entrance but left Yuan Yinxin to handle the disturbance and continued deeper into the valley.
  • Zhou Sanming heard the rolling thunder while nourishing five Dao Corpses with Lifespan Soil and guessed it came from Divine Firmament Mountain.
  • Xu Jin tried to leave to fetch water, but Zhou Sanming ordered him to stay or face having his blood drained.

Ch. 1459This Was a Misunderstanding, This Was Not!

Luo Xianshen fought the Spirit Mediums and discovered they had been using infants to feed ghosts, then killed the Beast-Headed Men carrying the children while the others escaped. He rescued nine infants and was joined by Yin Yuan and the others, who witnessed the aftermath.

  • Luo Xianshen subdued the Spirit Mediums with the Threefold Curse and demanded to know where Xu Jin was.
  • Witch Queen Yi Yi revealed an infant and summoned the Death-Prison Yama Ghost, prompting Luo Xianshen to attack and seize the child.
  • A Spirit Medium claimed Xu Jin had escaped and called the confrontation a misunderstanding, but Luo Xianshen condemned their infant-fed ghost cultivation.
  • The Spirit Mediums, Shamanesses, and Yi Yi fled, while Luo Xianshen pursued and killed the Beast-Headed Men without using an attack that could harm hidden infants.
  • Luo Xianshen found eight more infants, laid them beside the child he had rescued, and stopped his sword when figures emerged from the bushes.
  • Yin Yuan approached Luo Xianshen, looked at the infants with pity, and bowed deeply with reddening eyes.

Ch. 1460Gu Control!

Luo Bin used the Gu-Breaking Ocarina Tune to draw thread gu from the Tomb Guardian and gained control over him through a mother gu. After the sealed door briefly threatened to open, Luo Bin examined it and waited by the crack.

  • Luo Bin drove dozens of thread gu out of the Tomb Guardian, contained them with the Golden Silkworm Gu, and fed them his hair, nail clippings, and blood.
  • Luo Bin returned the thread gu to the Tomb Guardian and discovered that one had entered his fingertip, letting him control the Tomb Guardian's movements.
  • Luo Bin reasoned that the Tomb Guardian and Yuan Tianshu were separate sources of the thread-gu poison and that Yuan Tianshu's mother gu could not be controlled without being obtained.
  • Luo Bin noticed a gaunt hand pushing through the cracked door, but the Tomb Guardian returned to his post and the Flesh-and-Blood Talismans forced the hand back.
  • Luo Bin recognized the door as the entrance to the Tomb-Suppressing Passage, touched its icy surface, and waited beside it.

Ch. 1461Two-refined thread gu!

Luo Bin refined a powerful two-refined thread gu and gained much tighter control over the Tomb Guardian. He realized Yuan Tianshu was likely waiting in the mountain valley and resolved to face him rather than flee.

  • Luo Bin trapped the being behind the tomb door, severed its arm with gu worms, and used the thread gu to stop it from controlling the Tomb Guardian.
  • Luo Bin played the Gu-Breaking Ocarina Tune and drew more thread gu from the severed arm, then refined them into a two-refined gu worm.
  • Luo Bin fed the new thread gu his blood and used it to control the Tomb Guardian with greater speed and precision.
  • Luo Bin left the tomb with the Tomb Guardian and found no sign of Yuan Tianshu near the stone bridge.
  • Luo Bin concluded that Yuan Tianshu was in the mountain valley, likely waiting for him, and decided he could not flee without being haunted by the encounter.

Ch. 1462You old bastard, you play dirty

Yuan Tianshu waited for Luo Bin to enter the valley, but Bai Wei arrived with Fourth Master Gray and Qin Tianqing’s group, breaking through the feng shui formations. Bai Wei confronted Yuan Tianshu while Gu Yiren stood nearby, and the chapter ended with their standoff.

  • Yuan Tianshu woke Gu Yiren and prepared for Luo Bin’s arrival as the azaleas withered around them.
  • Wooden talismans fell one after another as the valley’s feng shui formations were broken at remarkable speed.
  • Bai Wei arrived at the flower garden with Fourth Master Gray and a swarm of mountain rats after Fourth Master Gray tracked Gu Yiren’s scent.
  • Qin Tianqing and members of the Heavenly Secrets Dojo caught up with Bai Wei and reacted warily to Yuan Tianshu and the fallen talismans.
  • Bai Wei accused Yuan Tianshu of trapping people in the valley and stared him down.

Ch. 1463Five Immortals Spirit Medium versus Yin Spirit Projection!

Bai Wei, possessed by the Five Corpse Immortals, confronted Yuan Tianshu and attacked him to avenge the suffering caused by Yuan Yinxin. Yuan Tianshu’s hexagrams and talismans failed to subdue Bai Wei, forcing him to retreat as Bai Wei pursued him across the cliffs.

  • Yuan Tianshu dismissed Bai Wei and his companions, while Third Master Hu mocked him through Bai Wei.
  • Bai Wei regained control of his body, denounced Yuan Tianshu, and lunged at him to avenge his lost family and disciples.
  • Yuan Tianshu’s Yin hexagrams met backlash, and Bai Wei’s Gray immortal disrupted his Yin Spirit with a stream of foul urine.
  • Yuan Tianshu restrained Bai Wei with talismans, but a death-life tribulation hexagram strengthened Bai Wei by draining Yuan Tianshu’s life force.
  • Yuan Tianshu used a Great Seal to injure the Five Corpse Immortals, but Bai Wei recovered and broke free of the talismans.
  • Yuan Tianshu fled along the cliffs, and Bai Wei pursued him while calling on Old Fourth Gray to attack.

Ch. 1464String Puppets! Luo Bin Appears!

Bai Wei’s fight with Yuan Tianshu turned against him when Yuan Tianshu tried to extract his corpse core, while Qin Tianqing discovered Gu Yiren had been tampered with. Luo Bin then appeared and revealed that he had made Yuan Tianshu’s body into a String Puppet, leaving Yuan Tianshu’s Yin Spirit unable to return to it.

  • Gu Yiren urged Qin Tianqing’s group to retreat, but Qin Tianqing shot her with needles and ordered the disciples to bind her after realizing she had been tampered with.
  • Yuan Tianshu’s Yin Spirit used the Gray Immortal’s rat urine and Yellow Immortal’s smoke to weaken Bai Wei’s defenses, then reached into his abdomen for his corpse core.
  • Qin Tianqing ordered the disciples to flee as Yuan Tianshu’s Yin Spirit threatened Bai Wei, but Yuan Tianshu’s body rose and attacked its own Yin Spirit with two peachwood swords.
  • Qin Tianqing realized Yuan Tianshu’s body had become a String Puppet when it used Corpse Liberation and Sword Swallowing to prevent the Yin Spirit from returning.
  • A dark-skinned monk recited the Wisdom King Curse, and Luo Bin arrived manipulating Yuan Tianshu’s puppet body while holding a scarlet tortoise shell.

Ch. 1465Foolish kindness, or ulterior motives!

Luo Xianshen agreed to help Yuan Yinxin while remaining wary of his motives, and he learned that Four-Rules Mountain might be a branch of the mysterious Divine Firmament Mountain. Elsewhere, Zhou Sanming nearly suppressed the life force protecting the five Dao Corpses and prepared to claim them.

  • Yuan Yinxin offered to try opening the mountain ban and asked Luo Xianshen for a token; Luo agreed to help him after weighing the risks and searching for Xu Jin and the five Dao Corpses.
  • Luo Xianshen gave Yuan Yinxin a talisman-bearing peachwood sword, and Yuan Yinxin recognized the thunder arts as resembling Divine Firmament Mountain's legacy.
  • Yuan Yinxin said Four-Rules Mountain was an outer branch of Divine Firmament Mountain, then sent Yuan Bi to explain what the Cabinet Mountain Taoist Grounds knew about it.
  • Zhou Sanming used the essence of Fifty-Two from his Lifespan Soil to suppress the life force on the five Dao Corpses and believed he was close to taking them.
