The Kuafu Lineage was not alone in this. Most Feudal Lords who had advanced to become Fourth-Level Star Lords were much the same.
They divided Star Lords and Starfolk into ranks to make ruling them easier.
Fourth-Level Star Lords were called Feudal Lords. Having more or less escaped the struggle for survival, they naturally had the leisure for such things-or, one might say, to find themselves something to do.
As a Fourth-Level Planet Lord, one's lifespan could reach a trillion years.
As long as they had no fewer than 2,000 Subsidiary Planets, their planet's lifespan would not be depleted. In other words, it could exist forever.
Erecting divine statues served this purpose too: letting their Starfolk know who ruled them.
Why 2,000?

It was the same principle as "I think, therefore I am."
Thus, Level Four Feudal Lords faced two major problems.
First, maintaining no fewer than two thousand planets.
Second, ensuring their galaxy continued to exist forever.
For a Fourth-Level Planet Lord, the number of Subsidiary Planets was a measure of strength.
Those whose Subsidiary Planets fell below the minimum required for advancement were the
