Domina's question left Zhiren momentarily at a loss for an answer. He knew perfectly well that Zhang Fan had created this Insect Race force by incorporating Dragon Race genes, and that their purpose was to break the seal on Judge Dragon Dimayadis of the Western Realm.
Under the council members' scrutiny, Zhiren sneered. "Do you really need me to answer that? Has Princess Domina devoted all her mental power to controlling Prince Dimis, leaving her eyes unable to function?"
Zhiren deftly shifted everyone's attention to Domina's control over Dimis.
The entire Northern Realm knew that Domina and Dimis had long been locked in a bitter struggle for the Kelami throne. Now that Dimis was suddenly standing obediently behind Domina, he had to be either under her control or a clone.
The ambassador from Geluyah Star immediately backed Zhiren up. "We would appreciate a reasonable explanation from the princess. What exactly has happened to Prince Dimis?"
Domina slammed the table in fury. "What? Are you all hoping for discord in our family? My younger brother has realized that he simply isn't suited to ruling the vast Krami Empire. Are you trying to incite him to rebel?"
With Domina leveling such a grave accusation, no one dared say anything more. After all, the Krami Empire stood second only to the Northern Realm Great Emperor, and even the Great Emperor had to show them some respect.
The Krami Empire occupied almost a third of the Northern Realm and was not a power just anyone could afford to offend. The even stronger Dragon Race was, of course, an exception.
Zhiren sneered. "Getting flustered, Princess? We're merely leaning toward one possibility, making a guess-just as your adjutant suggested that the army ravaging the Northern Realm was connected to our Dragon Race."
