The native Insect Race forces led by Nexis broke through on the left flank, while Doria's mechanical insect race coordinated with the Insect Race forces on the perimeter to launch a fierce assault on Nord's capital ships.
Sinderson hurriedly deployed electromagnetic cannons against Doria's mechanical insect race, only to discover that they were not having the effect he had expected.
Sinderson grabbed his adjutant by the collar and roared, "Why aren't the electromagnetic cannons working?"
The adjutant looked just as bewildered. "I don't know! They should interfere with the mechanical insect race! We saw it happen with our own eyes!"
Yet Doria's mechanical insect race warships swept past the electromagnetic fields generated by the cannons without slowing in the slightest. The cannons seemed to have no effect on them at all.
Sinderson simply could not understand it. During the battle against the native Insect Race, the {electromagnetic bugs} had easily defeated the mechanical insect race. Why were the far more powerful electromagnetic cannons having no effect now?
Without the electromagnetic cannons, there was no way to defeat the mechanical insect race quickly. With so many native Insect Race forces here as well, failure would doom him beyond all hope.
Sinderson immediately ordered every warship to concentrate its fire on Doria's flagship. Their only option now was to kill Doria. Only by killing her might they stop the mechanical insect race.

Jiesang's anxious face appeared on the main screen. He cried out in panic, "We
