Lambert immediately stopped him. "Now that we know these people are Insect Race infiltrators, a large-scale purge will inevitably trigger an attack from the Insect Race outside. If they attack us from within and without, we won't have enough troops to fight them."

McHarley calmed down. "We'll send them all out to attack the Insect Race, then wipe them out in one fell swoop."

Lambert thought it over and said, "That's a good plan, but we'll have to send them out in batches, or they might catch on."

After obtaining McHarley's approval, Lambert personally visited the Snow White pirate crew and told Golia, "Your crew has been doing well lately. Commander McHarley and I have discussed it, and we'd like to award you a Golden Sailboat."

Golia looked at Lambert excitedly. "Really?"

Lambert inwardly cursed up a storm. This Insect Race infiltrator was something else. Her act was truly convincing.

He nodded. "Really. But although you've grown stronger, you're still a new Pirate Group. I'm afraid plenty of people will question whether your record merits it."

Golia immediately assured him, "Don't worry, First Mate. Give us an assignment, and we'll get it done."

Lambert glanced around and told Golia, "There's a nearby planet occupied by the Insect Race, Polaya Star. Go and take it back. Its rare-metal mines are the Halley Flagship's main energy source. We can't let the Insect Race control them indefinitely."

Golia nodded. "All right. I'll send my people there right away."

Lambert feigned shock. "You're not going yourself? You may have plenty of people, but taking Polaya Star won't be easy."

"Besides, if you don't go, who gets the credit? Would your subordinates be willing to hand it over to you?"

Lambert lowered his voice and told Golia, "It's best if only your Pirate Group goes.
