Under Moderan's guidance, Sophia and Kaina arrived at the Council Hall on Kuku Planet, while Sural surrounded the entire Council complex.
Once Sophia and Kaina had taken their seats, Moderan spoke first. "May I ask what brings our two extraterrestrial friends to Kuku Planet?"
Kaina covered her mouth and laughed. "Nothing terribly important, really. A little item of ours fell onto Kuku Planet, and we'd simply like to retrieve it."
Moderan's heart pounded with unease. A little item? Did finding a little item require mobilizing an army?
"I'm afraid you'll be disappointed. Our satellite defense network has been in place for several centuries now. Nothing could have fallen onto Kuku Planet-not even a meteorite the size of a grain of rice would escape destruction."
Kaina smiled. "Hehe, don't be so certain just yet, Chairman. This object should have arrived ten thousand years ago, or even earlier. We'll leave as soon as I retrieve it."
After a brief silence, Moderan nodded. "Very well. Since it's a Primordial Era relic, tell me what it is, and I'll help you find it. But once you do, you must leave immediately."
"Of course. We have far more important matters to attend to." Kaina pointed at Sophia. "However, we don't know what the fragment that fell here looks like. We can only locate it using the instrument we have."
Sophia took out the twelve-sided metal sphere, which was flashing with blue light, and showed it to Moderan.
After examining it closely, Moderan told the adjutant beside him, "Take a squad of soldiers and help this extraterrestrial noble find what she needs."
Then Moderan turned to Kaina. "I'd like to discuss a few questions about the universe and science with you, my lady. Would that be possible?"
Kaina smiled. "Certainly. We can chat while we wait
