Hundreds of billions of Insect Race soldiers lived inside the Broodmother. It would not be much of a stretch to say there was an Insect Race city within her.
But that Insect Race city was formed from the Broodmother's network of blood vessels. The "flesh sphere" was completely different: inside it stood a city built from enormous stones.
Through the footage sent back by the Image Bug, they could see streets, shops, and a palace that occupied roughly half of this stone city.
A squad of soldiers holding pointed shields and spears stood ready before the palace gates. A woman in a lavish European-style gown was rapidly operating some kind of device.
The Image Bug drew closer, and Zhang Fan studied the woman in the gown. She looked much like an ordinary human, except for the extra eye on her forehead and her slightly pointed ears. By human standards, her face was quite pretty and cute.
"The Three-Eyed Race? Are they here to save the Lizard Beastmen? Is there a connection between these two races?"
Shusha had no answer to Zhang Fan's questions either. She could only offer her analysis. "The Lizard Beast Race is a primitive race. They have no spaceships, not even aircraft. Unless these members of the Three-Eyed Race are their guardians."
"Guardians... Hmph. If Earth had had guardians back then, the Insect Race wouldn't exist."
Watching the nearly destroyed Lizard Beastmen city, Zhang Fan smiled. "Let's see what they intend to do first. If they attack our Insect Race, hit them first, whoever they are."
The "flesh sphere" came to a steady halt in midair. A little while later, a fissure suddenly opened in it, and a woman wearing semi-mechanical armor and holding a metal staff floated out.
She smiled at the Image Bug. "Interested in
