His main body immersed itself in the experience as that speck of light pulsed gently, glimmering.
That tiny thought was a manifestation of mental power.
Lin Ke's mental power was actually not particularly strong, but swallowing this Essence Elixir had shored up one of his weaknesses.
Moreover, what made this thought special was that it embodied an upright, open-hearted sense of light and justice.
"Righteousness?"
Lin Ke was a little puzzled.
Could he have been a man brimming with righteousness without even realizing it himself?
Still...
"If my thought is related to righteousness among benevolence, righteousness, propriety, wisdom, and trustworthiness, would the Song of Righteousness be a better poem for condensing it?"
So far, most teachings of the Confucian School expounded on what benevolence and propriety were.
Explanations of righteousness, wisdom, and trustworthiness were few and far between, lacking any coherent framework.
The Confucian Scholars were still most interested in benevolence.
However, the Song of Righteousness explained what "Vast Righteousness" was. Lin Ke did not want to unleash such a devastating weapon at a noncritical moment. That would be a waste.
Merely condensing and strengthening his own thought was not worth it.
If a critical moment did come, though, Lin Ke would still be willing to recite it.
"How's your thought coming along?" Seeing Lin Ke muttering to himself, Wang Lin asked curiously.
"Not bad," Lin Ke replied. "It's righteousness."
"Righteousness? Not benevolence?" Wang Lin was surprised.
In Wang Lin's eyes, Lin Ke was perfectly suited to benevolence. By contrast, he somewhat lacked that sense of being duty-bound to act for righteousness.
Benevolence embraced all things, bringing together filial piety, righteousness, propriety, wisdom, trustworthiness, loyalty, and a hundred other virtues.
Wang Lin felt that a thought encompassing all things suited Lin Ke very well.
"Still, a thought incarnation based on
