• Lin Ke began Great Wilderness Weekly, recruited Ye Jun to print it, and hired Xi He to manage the newspaper office.
• Lin Ke confronted Wu Chujian and his associates over their exploitation of residents, then wrote Ode to the Humble Abode, whose literary qi spread through the Capital City.

Lin Ke defeated the Sage Domain challengers, defended his educational reforms, and established a hydroelectric station while advancing to the Third Realm. He then traveled to Jiangning Prefecture to hunt a Fierce Demon and uncover who had concealed its attacks, refusing to turn back despite the danger.

• Lin Ke defeated the Sage Domain challengers in music and the Novel Path, then wrote the Three Character Classic and Hundred Family Surnames while defending his university’s reforms.
• Lin Ke ordered the Sage Domain visitors to leave Great Wilderness University and dismissed Qi Ye and Libationer Liu after arguing against slavish adherence to old rites.
• Lin Ke and the Fire God Mantises activated the Cloud Dream Marsh hydroelectric station, then learned that Lin Xuanji had traded with outsiders and that a Fierce Demon had slaughtered border villages.

Lin Ke uncovered A Shui as the fierce demon and ended his rampage, then settled in Jiangning before joining a literary gathering where he confronted the Six Clans’ prodigies. The arc left Lin Ke beginning contests against their hidden geniuses and considering Bai Qingqing as a possible disciple.

• Lin Ke exposed A Shui as the fourth-realm demon who had massacred villagers for revenge, then defeated him after a fierce battle on Azureglow Mountain.
• A Shui died after arguing with Lin Ke about human hypocrisy and the Sacred Path, and Lin Ke suspected Lin Xuanji’s doppelganger had taught A Shui and Xiao'er.
• Lin Ke offered Xiao'er a chance to challenge him later, then calmed public resentment over the officials’ response to the demon crisis and chose to stay in Jiangning Prefecture.

While investigating strange incidents in Weiyang City, he uncovered a connection to the Fierce Demon case and suspected Lin Xuanji was behind a larger scheme.
