Shen Lian showed up around noon.
Chen Mu had only done a handful of endorsements and lacked a feel for the camera, but he was a quick learner and humble, so the photographer wasn't annoyed. He patiently worked through the details with him, explaining the effect he wanted, and Chen Mu did his best to recreate it.
"That's Shen Lian!" a young woman exclaimed, stamping her feet in excitement.
Chen Mu turned, his eyes instantly lighting up. "Mr. Shen?"
Shen Lian wore a haphazard combination of casual pants and a tracksuit jacket, his hair a mess, but that face was still a hundred percent gorgeous.
Some people raised their phones to take pictures, and Shen Lian didn't stop them. He wasn't working today, so he hadn't brought Jiang You or the others, only a few bodyguards.
"You've been shooting until now?" Shen Lian asked.
Chen Mu looked a little embarrassed. "I'm just too slow."
"He's not," the photographer clarified for him. "He just hasn't found the right feel yet. Once he does, he'll be fine."
"Keep going." Shen Lian pulled over a stool and sat down. "I had nothing to do, so I came to take a look."
Chen Mu wasn't self-conscious. An actor's job was to display emotions for an audience. He was only afraid Shen Lian would be disappointed.

Chen Mu's strengths lay in his tall frame, neither too heavy nor too thin, and his pleasing features. Those long legs looked especially handsome in black pants. Part of the reason he had never become popular was that Dawnlight simply never gave him decent styling.
"Find the light." Shen Lian gestured. "Make your expression a little more arrogant. Keep the other half of your face against the backdrop, in
